Réponse à : « Mi Mix 3 Screen repair »I have just done this repair for the first time. If you have a screen including a frame, first remove the back by heating to about 80C/180F for a few minutes then prying gently around the edges using picks (guitar picks, etc.) Thankfully there are no awkward cables sticking to the back but when the back comes loose remove it gently as you will need to unplug the fingerprint reader. Once this is done, take a photo then unscrew the motherboard shield and carefully lift it away. Be sure to organise your screws carefully so you remember which one went where. It is necessary to remove the battery to access the six screws underneath so do this by gently pulling on the two battery tabs which should stretch and remove. Be sure to hold the battery when removing the second tab. Unplug the battery from the motherboard and put it aside. Take another photo then remove the motherboard by unscrewing the additional screws which hold it down. There is no need to unplug the cameras which should lift away with the...
Réponse à : « New to phone repair, need to replace screen on Doogee Mix 2. »I’ve just replaced the power board on a Doogee Mix 2. The most stressful part is removing the back. Unless you are really good at it I would buy a new back cover and a new set of patch antennas from Aliexpress before you start. The back cover is about $6 and the patch antennas about $5. Disassembly is the usual process of heating the back of the phone, ideally with a temperature controlled heat mat but you can use a heat gun if you are careful. With a very thin spudger you can pry the back cover away from the phone very gently, the glass will probably crack. Pry only in the lower half of the back cover. When you have enough room, insert some plastic shims (such as plastic playing cards) and use them to cut through the glue. On the Mix2 the battery is glued to the back cover, so you will have to be very careful to cut the glue between the battery and the back cover before lifting the back covery very much otherwise you will damage the cable connecting the battery to the motherboard. Unless you are very...

Réponse à : « Poor performance of Ulefone Be Pro screen. »I have a Be Pro with the same problem. I think the digitizers go bad after a while. You can buy a new screen/digitizer module but it's difficult to do and economically questionable: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Repair-Tools-100-Original-Ulefone-be-Pro-LCD-Display-Digitizer-Touch-Repair-Assembly-Black-Replacement/32710935049.html I just bought a new phone and relegated the Be Pro to car navigation, which doesn't use the digitizer so much.
Réponse à : « Does not drain the water at the end of cycle »Another possibility is that your drain pump is stalling. The usual design is with a rotor containing a permanent magnet. If the bearings are sticky then the rotor sometimes doesn't return correctly to the park position which means the pump stalls when it tries to run again. If your pump is like this then unscrew it (usually 3 screws), pull the rotor assembly out of the housing, clean and grease the bearings then reassemble.
Réponse à : « Why does my computer turn off after a few minutes run time? »There's a fair chance the fan or radiator are blocked with lint. Try removing the fan (instructions may be on here depending on model) and have a look.
