Sounds like you have a bad Audio IC chip which can be related to the “Loop Disease”. I dont know if Apple has officially said anything on this matter but you can research further iPhone 7 Loop Disease and see what fixes may be out there or if Apple is doing anything as far as replacing devices.
Boot loop or taking forever to boot after a screen replacement on iPhone 7 or newer can be caused by a defective or incorrectly installed proximity sensor. If the screen came with prox you can remove it and install with the one from the defective screen or send the screen back.
Does it appear that it is actually opening the contacts page but there are just no contacts? Or do you mean an actual only white screen? If it appears there are just no contacts listed, try checking the email accounts on the phone to verify they are not requesting you to sign in again, you can also sync the email accounts again in the settings under accounts. Many people are unaware that contacts can be saved to an email account.
