Réponse à : « Removal of just the keyboard not the whole top case? »I just completed this task on my A1811. I bought the keyboard off ebay. I used a knife to cut off the plastic “tabs”, all 200 (aprox) of them!! Installed the new keyboard in the metal frame and used a liquid plastic called Bondic to fasten it. I put a dab of Bondic on all the perimeter tabs around the frame and the touchpad, as well as a few random spots. This glue is quickly hardened by a special LED blue light that comes with the Bondic. I will say it took me about 3 hours to accomplish this task. You have to be very careful separating the keyboard from the tray because not only is there the melted plastic tabs but also a sticky substance between them.
