I work as an independent driving instructor.
During my spare time I've taken to making repair videos. I've had over 30 years experience with electronics, gadgets and cars etc.
Repairing phones was only a favour I used to do for friends until I was looking for a repair video on a Nokia 6700 classic. I couldn't find one so I setup my camera and made one myself. A few years on and I now use nice HD camera and have experience in setting up the camera manually which gives much better results.
I hope to make many more of these before I get too old which will probably be in 20 years time :-)
I've been using a 50/50 mix of pink antifreeze for over a year now. No worries about mould or having to clean it out. As a bonus it lubricates the pump and keeps all the seals in good condition, just like it would on a cars system.
Thanks for the info, I've now removed it....
Yes you can use some hot air and aim for about 60ºC or as hot as your hands can stand.
Use a thin blade to peel it off and try not to touch the sticky side..
I've had this problem before and it turned out the phone was blocked by the network. Try using checkmend.com . If its not blocked then its going to be a hardware/firmware issue
new keys are easy to find online, and you'll need to use a fine tip soldering iron to put the new one on
