If you have a hard time listening to any sounds through your laptop speaker, or if your audio is distorted, this might be a result of having a faulty driver. You can check this by going to the Device Manager and then click on the Sound, video and game controllers. The Device Manager will tell you the manufacturer and model. Problems with Wireless Connection
The netbook will not detect or connect to wireless connections.
Check if the wireless button is actually on. Users inadvertently turn this button off and don’t realize it. This button is usually above the keyboard.
If you think there is an issue with the connection you're using, try to connect to that same connection with a different device. If the other device works well on that connection, then the wireless connection is not the problem.
Check the router setting of the Acer Aspire One 722. Make sure that you have the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) turned on and don’t have the mac filtering on. This can mess up the connection between your wireless connection and this device.
The router type factors when it comes to the Acer Aspire One 722 wireless connection. A D-Link router doesn’t blend well with this device. This router tends to think that this device is still broadcasting and that kills wireless connection.
Acer Wireless Drivers
If the wireless connection is fine, and there is nothing wrong with the router type or settings, than the problem is most likely your Acer Wireless Drivers. Drivers need to be kept up- to-date and if they’re not then they become damaged. To manually install your updated Driver you can go to http://www.acer.com/ and find and download the missing Drivers that your laptop needs. The website may give you instructions to help guide you with your installation.
