Sound is Distorted
The sound from the speaker is distorted or faded.
Low Battery
Sound distortion can occur if the speaker has a low battery. The solution is to plug in the speaker to the charging device.
Blocked Connection
The sound can also be distorted if the connected device and the speaker are on opposite sides of a concrete or solid wall. Therefore, in order to fix this you need to make sure both the device and speaker are not separated by any large objects. Instead place them near each other, preferably without any objects in the way.
Distance between Speaker and Connected Device
Typically this issue is caused by being too far away from the speaker when trying to connect to the speaker. This issue can also occur if you move the connected device too far away from the speaker. The solution is to make sure that you keep within a certain distance of the speaker with your connected device.
Speaker is Not Functional
It is possible that the speaker itself is the issue and needs to be replaced. Please refer to the BEM Mojo 2 Speaker Replacement guide.
Cannot Connect via Bluetooth
The device is not connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth.
Check if Power is On
Check to see if the Bluetooth light is blinking on the speaker. If not, then press the power button to make sure that the device is powered on. If the light does not turn on then charge the device and try again.
Other Bluetooth Interference
It is also possible for other Bluetooth devices to interfere with the connection to the speaker. If so, be sure to turn off other Bluetooth devices.
Auxiliary Cord used as Input
If the auxiliary cord is plugged into your device then the Bluetooth input cannot connect. Try unplugging the auxiliary cord and re-connecting the Bluetooth input to your device.
Device will not hold a charge
Speaker will not hold charge when disconnected.
Broken USB Cord
It is possible that the USB charging cord could be broken. If you have another USB charging cord, try testing to see if it charges the speaker.
Faulty Battery
It is possible that the battery may be bad and needs to be replaced. Reference the BEM Mojo 2 Charging Base Battery Replacement.
Device Will Not Power On
The speaker will not turn on even when device is switched to ON mode.
ON/OFF Switch Broken
The on/off switch may be broken and the speaker motherboard may need to be replaced. Reference our BEM Mojo 2 Speaker Motherboard Replacement.
Battery Not Functional
The speaker’s red light will blink quickly when the battery’s power is low. When this happens, plug in the Micro USB charger to the speaker and to an AC adapter and plug it into the wall to charge. If it still does not power on, there may be an issue with the battery and it may need to be replaced. Reference our BEM Mojo 2 Speaker Battery Replacement.
Device Buttons Not Responding
The buttons on the device are not responding.
Buttons are not Detecting Input
The touch buttons on the speaker may not be detecting input. The buttons may need to be wiped down and cleaned with a clean, damp towel.
ON/OFF Switch Not Functional
Make sure to check that your device is fully charged before proceeding. Next, check to make sure the button is pushed to the correct side of the switch and that you hear a clicking noise indicating the switch is in the ON mode. If the speaker will still not power ON, please refer to the BEM Mojo 2 Charging Base Motherboard Replacement guide.

the sound is very faint. The speaker is charged up, bluetooth is working and we wiped off the controls with a damp cloth.

I have the same problem, sounds like a busy signal--2 tones then back to music.
REALLY ANNOYING!!
Any ideas?
Also have discovered only one speaker will connect. The other won't connect stereo, or stand alone.--Have made sure one is on “R” and one on “L”. Nothing seems to work,
any ideas?

After seeing no comment that related to my problem, I decided to open the nonworking speaker up and have a look.
Determined that the speaker selection switch was broken. I carefully moved the switch into position opposite the other speaker, ie made sure I had one on “A “and one on “B”. Tested them out and found everything working properly !
Hope this helps-
---Good luck, packth
