The lens of myCanon Powershot S50 would not retract far enough to use lens cover. I went to fixit on Safari, desperate for advise.
After gently passing, tapping, prying, hitting harder for 3 days, off and on, this morning I whacked it and the lens fully retracted.
It took persistence and fixit to get my dear, old Canon to operate.
Thank you.
