Cursor does not move or is unstable

Cursor shows no signs of responding to touch or movement.

Unclear connection between fingerprints and touch pad

The most common problem of unstable cursor movement is the unclear reading of the fingerprints by sensors in the touch pad. Touch devices are sensitive for conductive materials and do not work properly when the connection is not clear.

Reset the computer

Computers freeze and do not respond when they have to do too much work. That also might deactivate cursor movement. The best solution is to reset the computer and check the cursor movement when computer is booted up.

Battery Will Not Charge

When plugged in, the laptop will not charge.

Malfunctioning Cable

Attempt to charge the laptop using another cable. Alternatively, use the same cable on another laptop. If the same cable works for another laptop, it is the fault of the laptop.

BIOS Issue

Boot the system to BIOS, tapping the F2 key on the Dell logo screen when you power on the system. Press F9 key to load BIOS defaults. Once done, press F10 key to save and exit. System will restart. Check again to see if the battery will charge.

Frozen Screen

Screen is unresponsive to touch or cursor movement.

Restarting the computer

Restarting the computer often helps reset everything wrong with the laptop and is a common solution to fixing a frozen screen. Power off your laptop and power it back on to see if the problem has subsided.

Task Manager

Opening task manager commonly fixes a frozen screen as well. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del in order to open up a list of options to perform and click on "Task Manager". That will open up the task manager which will allow your screen to become unfrozen and close any program that is causing the issue.

the issue is that my system stuck and loud sounding this issue i m facing in long time and i recently change my mother board in under warranty but issue can not be resolve it when i using software this problem occur when i using google chrome again i facing this problem when i shut down same facing this problem when i restart same this problem i call to dell and also reply on the mail he provide me call back for the dell support the team and he check my system with the help of remote access but no issue team was found but i m facing the problem last year i m facing the different problem with my laptop the issue was heat the bottom side and reduce the battery life in half hour that time dell team check the system and diagnose it and also check system health but there is no issue but i m facing physically so i talk him and decide to go to the service center in Delhi Nehru place and give him my laptop they check and going through all process and found it the issue but this time no one help me
