Audio Distortion Comes from the Speaker
Loud buzzing noise when the speaker is disconnected
Loose Connections
Ensure that no connections have been pulled loose. If they have, reconnect them, making sure to do so the right way. Double-check the power connections from the power supply.
Overheating
Verify if the ventilation is overheating; this may cause the unit to underperform. Turn off the speaker. Let it cool for a few hours then turn the speaker back on and verify if it is still functional.
Small Foreign Objects
Inspect the unit for any signs of dirt or dust; this may cause sound loss. I any of entities are found follow the following steps: 1. Use a microfiber cloth. A regular rag is coarse and may harm your speakers’ finish. 2. Dampen the cloth but do not overdo it. If it is dripping, it is too wet. 3. Move the damp cloth in circular motions in order to prevent streaking. 4. To clean the grilles, simply use a lint roller and move it up and down. 5.Do NOT use chemicals on your Esquire Mini.

Audio cuts out "randomly" with the audio cable
While using the audio cable (ex as external speaker for a PC) the audio cuts out and it looks random but it is not.
For the record is the same behavior with or without USB charger.
Is not random
When I listen this track on YouTube in a specific volume level in a systematic way it cuts out between 12:15-12:18 and also in many other parts.
Is volume related
If I increase the volume the issue is done but when is not laud the issue is back in a systematic way.
Is not the source audio device
I tried with my kids old JBL speaker that also have wired audio input and it does not cut the audio. Audio also works without issues with the computer integrated speakers.
I tried on my phone using same browser and I was capable to reproduce the issue including to "fixing" it by increasing the volume.
It does not happen while using Bluetooth
No matters if the audio cable is connected or not. The issue does not happen while using Bluetooth, not even is the sound is low.
Hypotheses
This is pure speculation but could be the engineering team focused on Bluetooth and did not optimize the energy saver for wired aaudio usage then low volume is detected as idle and the speaker try to go to sleep but gets awake almost immediately while detecting sound again.
