Battery Fails to Charge
When device is plugged in , it will not power up.
Dysfunctional Charger
Confirm that your charging cord, block, and power outlet are all functioning properly and there is no damager to any part.
Failed Battery
If your battery still fails to charge with a working charger, replace your battery with a spare. Use the LG Optimus Zone 3 Battery Replacement Guide to help with the replacement of your failed battery.
Display Screen is Blank/Frozen
When you try and use your screen, it fails to respond or appears blank.
Screen Protecter Interference
If you have a screen protector, ensure that it is clear of dust and dirt. Try replacing your screen protecter.
Battery Malfunction
Power off device, remove and reinsert battery. If you are still experiencing issues, use the LG Optimus Zone 3 Battery Replacement Guide to help you replace the battery.
Application Interference
If screen is unresponsive, remove memory card to ensure that it is not an issue caused by third party application(s).
Device Crash
If you are unable to restore your screen, connect your device to a computer and restore device to factory default settings.
Unable to Make Phone Calls
When trying to place call, the signal is weak or the call is dropped.
Airplane Mode Enabled
Check your device to ensure that it is not in airplane mode.
Low Signal
Check your signal and try moving to a location where service is better. Check your device settings under Apps and activate 4G data.
Faulty Telephone Number
Place a free test call by dialing #832 and press call. If you can go through with the call, your device may be failing to make a certain call because the number is out of service, not because your device is malfunctioning.
Unable to Connect to the Internet
Device fails to connect to the internet or signal is slow.
Airplane Mode Enabled
Make sure airplane mode is turned off.
Poor WiFi Connection
Turn off Wi-Fi and see if cellular data still works on your device. If cellular data fails to work, move to a different location with better coverage. Try connecting to a different WiFi network. Contact your Internet Service Provider.
Mobile Data Disabled or Depleted
Make sure Mobile Data is turned on. Ensure that mobile data roaming is also turned on. Clear browsing data to free up memory. To check if you have run out of data for the current cycle, dial #DATA to call for Data Usage Information.
SIM Card Malfunction
Power off device, remove and reenter SIM card, re-power on device.
Unable to Send/Receive Text Messages
When attempting to send or receive messages, device experiences difficulties.
Low Signal
Check your signal and try moving to a location where service is better. Check your device settings under Apps and activate 4G data.
Blocked Numbers
Check your settings to make sure the number you are trying to interact with is not on your list of blocked numbers.
Memory is Full
Delete unused applications, images, messages, music, etc. to free up space on your device. This will free up space to receive new messages. If you are still experiencing issues, use the LG Optimus Zone 3 Micro SD Card Replacement to help replace you Micro SD Card on your device.
SIM Card Malfunction
Power off device, remove and reenter SIM card, re-power on device. If you are still experiencing issues, use the LG Optimus Zone 3 SIM Card Replacement to help replace the SIM card on your device.
