Unresponsive Keys

When pressing on a key it doesn't produce the characters being pressed.

Misaligned or Damaged Keycap

Remove the keycap by following this [guide]. If the issue is caused by a damaged keycap you'll need to replace it with a new one. Otherwise, simply putting it back into place can solve the issue.

Damaged or Broken Key Switch

If replacing the Keycap doesn't fix the issue, the key switch may be the problem. Like above, remove the key cap using this [guide]. Then follow this [guide] on removing Key Switches.

Wireless Feature Not Connecting

Keyboard will not connect to a device wirelessly.

Power Switch is Not Turned On

Make sure that the power switch on the device is turned on.

Device Driver Needs to Update

Using the device manager on your device, check for an update to the device driver. To get to device manager, using windows search your computer for “device manager”. Click the small arrow to the left of “Keyboards” to see the drivers currently installed. To update a drive, right click on the device and select “Update driver”.

Device Driver Update Failed

When updating the device driver, it’s possible that the update could have failed in the process. Follow the steps outlined in “Device Driver Needs to Update” to attempt to update the driver again.

Volume Wheel Not Working

No matter what, turning the volume wheel doesn’t affect the volume.

Firmware Update Needed

Ensure that you have the latest driver update for the device using the guide in "Wireless Feature Not Connecting" or try reinstalling it.

G-Hub Update Needed

Ensure that G-Hub is up to date by opening it up on your computer. It should update automatically, if you're still unsure you can download the latest version from Logitech's website.

Volume Wheel is Loose

See this [guide] on removing and replacing the volume wheel.

Loose Keycaps

When pressing keys the keycaps feel loose as if they could fall off.

Keycap is Not Well Put On

If you find that the keycaps are loose or not well put on try removing the keycap using this [guide] and putting it back on. If the key cap is still loose this is likely not the issue.

Keycap is broken

If you find that the keycaps are loose you can use this [guide] to showing how to remove the a keycap. If you find that something about the keycap is broken, you'll have to buy a replacement.

Double Key Presses

Whenever pressing a key the character being pressed will be input twice.

Key is Dirty

Constant use of a key may cause crumbs or dust to get under the key, or the key may end up becoming sticky. Remove the keycap using this [guide] and spray compressed air to remove any dust or crumbs.

Key is Sticky

Keys may get stuck overtime with sticky residue contacting the key and causing it to become stuck. Remove the key cap using this [guide] and dip a towel or q-tip in rubbing alcohol. Clean under the keycap and the areas between the keys.

Keyboard Isn't Clean

Overtime, daily use of the keyboard will get covered in dust and grease, which may cause problems with the function of the keyboard. Turn the keyboard upside down and gently shake it to remove any loose dust and debris trapped.

Key Backlights Won't Turn On

No matter how much I try, the key backlights will not turn on.

Loose Wire

Make sure that all the wires attached to the keyboard are well in place. If any wires are loose, readjust. This may lead to having to reconnect  the device. Once you finish that If the backlight still doesn't work it may be due to another issue.

LED Lights are Loose

The Led lights are placed under each key switch. If you remove a key and see that the LED is loose that may be the issue. If you need further instructions on removing the keycap and switch use these

I have a problem when crazy things happen. For example, when i press "3", outlook opens. When i press "D", another desktop opens up. And other crazy things that make it unusable.

Please advice.
