Tablet Won't Power On

The tablet is unresponsive or refuses to start up.

Power Button Doesn't Work

There is a chance that your power button may be broken or damaged, this will be evident in a loss of tactile feeling when you attempt to press it. This is a more fortunate circumstance as it means your tablet is overall in working order. All that is necessary to repair your tablet is a replacement of this component. Faulty Battery

It is possible that the battery is the culprit of this issue. If your tablet only turns on when a charger is plugged into it, it means that your battery is broken or malfunctioning. If proven to be the case, a total replacement of the battery may be necessary to get your tablet in working order. For more information on how to replace this component, follow this guide.

Fried or Broken Motherboard

An unlikely but not impossible ordeal. If a charger is plugged in and your tablet shows no signs of life, there is a possibility that your tablet's motherboard is short circuited or otherwise out of order. This component is the central hub for all of your device's components, and it being out of commission means your entire device ceases function. A full replacement of this component is necessary. Tablet Charge Falls Quickly

The percentage of your tablet's battery charge falls noticeably quicker than usual.

Degraded Battery

If your device's percentage falls much quicker than you're used to, it is likely that your tablet's battery has degraded through frequent use or passage of time. In which case, it is recommended you replace your battery in order to resume optimal experience of your device. For more information, follow this guide

Tablet Won't Charge

Your tablet powers on but refuses to charge when plugged in.

Broken Charger

Your charger may be broken or otherwise dysfunctional such that it refuses to transfer charge to the device properly. This will be evident if you attempt to plug the charger in and receive no visual feedback that the device has recognized it such as a charger light turning on or visual notification. You may need to purchase a new charger in order for your device to be allowed to return to working order.

Malfunctioning or Dirty Power Jack

Your power jack may be covered in debris or out of service, preventing your device from properly charging. In order to remedy this, it is recommended to first clean your power jack. In order to do this, take a toothpick covered in a piece of compressed cotton and gently swab the power jack to get rid of any debris blocking the port. Attempt to plug the device in afterwards and let it charge for a few minutes before you attempt to power it on. If the device still ceases to start after the attempted powerup, you may need to replace your power jack.

Distorted Speaker Audio

The audio coming from the tablet is either distorted, muffled or nonexistent.

Dirty Speaker

Your tablet's speaker may be covered in debris or is otherwise filthy, which can muffle or otherwise distort audio. In which case, it is recommended that you clean the speaker using a microfiber cloth dipped in a small amount of rubbing alcohol, purging any potential debris from the component.

Broken or Defective Speaker

If the audio is otherwise fine when you plug in headphones, it is possible your tablet's speaker is damaged or defective. If this is the case, you will need to completely replace the component. For more information on how to replace your tablet's speaker, follow this guide.

Muffled or Nonexistent Headphone Audio

When plugging in headphones or earbuds, the audio is either distorted, muffled, or nonexistent.

Dirty Headphone Jack

Upon inspection of the headphone jack, there is debris such as dust or particles blocking the port. In which case, a swab of the jack with a toothpick that has some cotton attached will do the trick.

Faulty Headphones

If you plug in the headphones and receive no audio at all or audio with intermittent pauses and breaks, it is possible that your headphones are to blame for this issue. Test the tablet with multiple headphone variants to see if any of them are responsive. If just one fails, then it means that particular one is malfunctioning.

Broken Headphone Jack

If your port is clean and does not have any particles, it is possible that your headphone jack is broken and needs to be replaced.

Poor Camera Quality

The pictures and videos taken from the tablet are blurry, pixelated, or otherwise poor in quality.

Filthy Camera Lens

Your tablet's camera may be full of debris, preventing it from taking high quality photos or recordings. To fix this problem, simply take a soft cloth that is slightly dampened in lens cleaning solution and gently rub it along the camera module to purge the debris.

Broken or Defective Camera Module

If your camera is clean and everything appears to be in tact but you still receive poor quality output, the camera module may be broken or otherwise defective. It is not uncommon for this particular model of tablet to come with a poor camera. In order to alleviate this, a total replacement of the camera module is highly recommended.
