If your OnePlus Nord N20 5G display won’t turn on, follow this troubleshooting guide.
Malicious Application Installed
In some instances, an application can be a backdoor for malware or a virus or other data miners that you may not want. These can cause a device to run slower and in some cases even brick a device (make the device unusable).
- If your phone screen stops working while actively using an application; consider uninstalling the application and restarting your phone to see if the problem persists.
Disconnected Screen
In some situations, a screen could potentially need to be reseated. If the screen has no physical damage, the connectors can be the issue. This issue should be resolved through repair, so professional help is advised.
- Some indicators of a hardware damaged screen is if the device is sending vibrations and other forms of feedback, like audio.
Software Issue
The device might just need a restart, so try turning it off and on again (if possible) before seeking another troubleshooting step.
- Hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Overheated Device
Phones tend to act abnormally whenever they are heated to extreme temperatures.
- The phone can overheat and automatically power off until its cooled down
