Turning Off or Freezing
If your J3 isn’t working properly, freezes or is turning off here is what to do. In some cases closing background applications can also be helpful if you continue to face issues.

2.Remove the battery, and wait for 10 seconds before inserting the battery back in.
3.Turn your J3 back on, and see if the problem has been solved.
Try Clearing the Application Cache
Clearing the application cache will clear any saved data from that app and will restart the app to the first time it was installed. To clear the application cache. We’ll show you how below:
1.Tap My Account from the home screen. Swipe left to open up the Device Diagnostics.
2.Tap Power Usage, and tap Battery Usage.
3.Tap on an individual application.
4.Tap App Info, and tap Clear Cache.
*If you’re still having problems, make sure that your device has been updated.
Factory Reset
A factory reset is a drastic method, and it will erase all of the information stored on the device. This includes passwords, images, texts and apps. There are a number of things you can do to backup your data beforehand. It’s strongly advised to make a backup, because it’s easier than starting over from scratch. To do a factory reset:
1.Tap Apps from your Home screen.
2.Tap the Settings option in this menu.
3.Find and tap Backup and reset, and tap Factory Data Reset.
4.Tap Reset Device, and tap Delete All to confirm your selection.
5.Your device will now reset, and it’ll restart once it’s completed.
*This should be seen as a last-ditch effort, so don’t go for it unless you’re sure there’s nothing else you can do.
Errors
When an error is shown on screen
Error 67
If you see an Error 67 the you may have mobile hotspot issues :
Connect to the mobile hotspot but can't browse.
1.Tap Apps from the home screen.
2.Tap Settings, and tap Data Usage.
3.Ensure that the Mobile data switch is on.
If you’re still having issues, it’s advised to soft reset your device, as it should help you to get reconnected with your network

The battery itself doesn't seem to have any damage to it because it attempts to power on just not charged enough do to problem previously mentioned . Any sugestions On how to remedy this situation would be greatly appreciated !
