The Phone Does Not Power On

Users may complain of the phone not powering on and not being able to use it for their needs.

Battery Has No Charge

Your device may not have any charge in the battery left. Attempt to press the power button for five seconds to make sure that the phone is unresponsive to being turned on. It may show an empty battery, indicating that you must charge the phone. Make sure that the phone has been connected to a working charger for at least one hour before trying again.

Charger Does Not Work

The problem may be your charger. If the battery is known to be working, plug in the charger. Check to see if there is a charging symbol that displays on the screen. If the symbol is not apparent or it does not show consistently, then your charger may be faulty. You can buy another charger from here , or if you want to save money, you can use any USB Type C cord in your house and substitute it as a charger!

Your phone may be getting tired after being awake for so long! Give it a break by restarting it, holding the power button, and turning it on accordingly. This helps clear out memory and can clear out sticky background processes and applications.

RAM is Full

Your phone may have too many processes running at one time. Close out of applications that are not in use to reduce the amount of RAM in use. You can also enable SMART CLEANER in your device's settings to automatically reduce RAM usage from background and unused apps. Smart Cleaner can be enabled by going to Settings, tapping Storage & Memory, and enabling Smart Cleaner. You should also disable unused home page widgets by unlocking your device, holding down on the unwanted widget, and dragging it to the remove icon.

Memory is Full

Your phone may be running out of memory. Go to your settings and press the applications tab. Select any applications that you rarely use and select the delete button to free more memory. Your device should be running more smoothly afterwards.

The Battery Will Not Charge

Users sometimes find that their device will not connect via USB port, not allowing for data transfer through tether or charge to be accumulated on the battery.

Charger is Broken

If the battery is known to be working, the problem may lie in the charger. Plug in the charger to a power source and your phone. Check to see if there is a charging symbol that displays on the screen. If the symbol is not apparent or it does not show consistently, try plugging the charger’s wall hub to another socket. If it still does not work, try a different charger.

Phone is Not Accepting Power

The problem may be the obstruction of electricity flow to your device. Clean the bottom of the USB port and ensure that it is not wet or clogged with lint/dust. If this does not work, the problem may be missing/corroded pins in your phone. If this is the case, you may need to replace your USB port.
