Faulty Power Cord
The Filter Free Cool Mist humidifier is equipped with a power cord. The cord is located on the back of the device, ensure that this power cord is not damaged. If the power cord is not damaged ensure that it is plugged in correctly. If neither of these solutions work, consider replacing the power cord.
Touchpad Not Responding to Touch
Interacting with the touch controls doesn’t adjust the amount of mist produced.
Faulty Touchpad Motherboard
The Filter Free Cool Mist humidifier has an internal motherboard that controls the touchpad. If the touchpad doesn’t respond the motherboard could be faulty or not be correctly plugged in. You can either replace this motherboard or ensure it’s plugged in by unscrewing the bottom part of the device and viewing the cord attached to the motherboard.
No mist coming out of the humidifier
When turning on the device, no mist is emitted from it.
Faulty Ultrasonic Mist Maker
If your humidifier is able to be turned on but will not produce any mist, it is possible that the ultrasonic mist maker has broken. You will need to replace this part by unscrewing the bottom part of the device and simply unplug the faulty part and plug in the replacement.
Damaged or Dirty Fan
The fan may be broken or dirty. If the fan is dirty, then cleaning it could solve the problem. If the fan is malfunctioning but appears to be clean, or has been cleaned and is still malfunctioning then the fan will need to be replaced by unscrewing the bottom of the device. Once the bottom is revealed, the fan will be under a steel cap, unscrew this part and replace the fan.

Tank Cap Not Properly Sealed
