Background
The Sony DualSense Edge wireless controller was released in January 2023 and is an upgrade of the DualSense controller that features easily replaceable joysticks. This is Sony's first "pro" controller that improves on the controller included with the console. Two notable improvements are the addition of mappable back buttons and sliders to adjust the travel of the L2 and R2 triggers. The DualSense Edge starts at $199.99.
Identification
The DualSense Edge can be identified by the model number CFI-ZCP1 on the back of the controller. It also features a black touchpad and black buttons, which are white on the original DualSense. The DualSense Edge also has function buttons under each joystick, two rear buttons, and sliders to adjust the travel of the trigger buttons.
