HAMILTON-C3 Repair

The HAMILTON-C3 (Model Number 624446/03 ) is a compact high-end mechanical ventilator designed by Hamilton Medical AG. The ventilator design allows it to operate independent from external power and air supplies for maximum mobility throughout a hospital.

The HAMILTON-C3 ventilation unit is designed for adult, pediatric, and neonatal ventilation and features:

1. Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV) that continuously adjusts respiratory rate, tidal volume, and inspiratory time depending on the patient’s lung mechanics and effort using a lung-protective strategy to guide the patient using a favorable breathing pattern and avoid potentially detrimental patterns
2. Protection Ventilation Tool (P/V Tool Pro) for lung assessment and recruitment which also provides an easy and repeatable method for performing recruitment maneuvers
3. High-performance noninvasive (NIV) ventilation
4. Integrated high-performance turbine that enables the HAMILTON-C3 to be completely independent from compressed air
5. Optimal alarm detection with a top-mounted 360°-visible alarm lamp
6. On-screen help for alarm troubleshooting

The HAMILTON-C3 ventilation unit can be identified by its large screen that displays the various data points the unit tracks. Below the screen is the button pad and to the right of that is the make and model HAMILTON-C3. A service label with the serial number is on the back of the unit in the center and towards the top.
