Background
The JBL Charge 4 is the fifth generation of the Charge series speakers from JBL by Harman released in October of 2018.
This durable and waterproof Bluetooth speaker features a 7500mAh battery capable of playing 20 hours of music as well as charging other devices with the USB charge out port. The Charge 4 generation also includes USB-C charging, Bluetooth connectivity with two devices simultaneously, and the ability to play music from over 100 JBL speakers at the same time with JBL Connect.
Identification
The JBL Charge 4 can be distinguished from its predecessor, the Charge 3, by the Charge 4 logo on the back, the exclamation point on the left passive bass radiator, and its model number (CHARGE4S) found in the charging port bay.
