== Background and Identification ==

The Fitbit Ionic is a smartwatch made by Fitbit and released in 2017. It uses GLONASS, a global satellite navigation system for built-in GPS as well as SmartTrack to record user activity on the Fitbit app. It’s predecessors were the Fitbit Blaze and Surge and in 2018, Fitbit released the Fitbit Versa along with an update to the Ionic with the Fitbit OS 2.0.

The Fitbit Ionic has a steel case and rubberized band. It has a rectangular full-color screen and though it’s similar to the Blaze’s screen, it’s bigger because the bezels are thinner. The Fitbit logo is placed just below the screen. It comes in Charcoal, Blue Gray and Slate Blue. The bands can be changed out, there are leather and plastic strap options.

== Contexte et identification ==

La Fitbit Ionic est une montre connectée fabriquée par Fitbit et commercialisée en 2017. Elle se base sur GLONASS, un système de navigation par satellite, pour son GPS intégré et utilise SmartTrack pour enregistrer l'activité de son porteur dans l'application Fitbit. Elle succède aux Fitbit Blaze et Surge. En 2018, Fitbit lance la Fitbit Versa, ainsi qu'une mise à jour de la Fitbit, Fitbit OS 2.0.

La Fitbit Ionic est composée d'un boîtier en acier, d'un bracelet caoutchouté et d'un écran couleur rectangulaire, similaire à celui de la Blaze mais plus grand grâce aux bordures plus étroites. Le logo Fitbit se trouve juste en dessous de l'écran. On peut changer le bracelet qui existe en cuir et en plastique.

Parmi ses caractéristiques : une autonomie pouvant aller jusqu'à cinq jours ; elle est étanche jusqu'à 50 mètres de profondeur ; on peut stocker jusqu'à 2,5 Go de musique ; le cardiofréquencemètre facile d'accès affiche les données instantanées sur l'écran principal.
