The MEDUMAT Basic (model number WM 22600) and Basic P (model number WM 22650) are emergency automatic resuscitators used to control respiration. MEDUMAT Basic/Basic P can be used to revive patients in emergency situations or on a long-term basis. It can also be used while transporting patients within a hospital or planned long-distance. The design is to provide controlled ventilation to people of 10kg body weight and to treat respiratory arrest. It can be preset to parameters that ensure evenly balanced ventilation and can be supplied with additional modules for aspiration and oxygen inhalation. The gas used for ventilation is highly compressed medical oxygen. |
