Background
The Nikon 1 AW1 was released in 2013. It is waterproof up to 15 meters, shockproof up to 2 meters. and freeze proof to -10° C—a distinguishing feature from the other Nikon 1 series cameras. It records in 1080p HD quality with a 14.2 MP lens. It was available for purchase with either one or two lenses.
Identification
You can identify your Nikon 1 AW1 by checking the label on the bottom of the camera for the model and serial numbers. This camera was released in three colors: white, black, and silver.
