Background
The Nikon COOLPIX S9500 was released in 2013. The camera comes with numerous functions that include Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 22x optical zoom NIKKOR lens that covers a wide-angle, from 25mm to super-telephoto 550mm.
The Wi-Fi capabilities that this camera offers allow users to connect to other devices, such as other cameras, computers, and smartphones, and to transfer high-quality images without having to connect using cables. The GPS capabilities can log where images are taken using longitude and latitude markers, as well as record where it has been. The Nikon COOLPIX S9500 also features a compass to assist user navigation.
Identification
You can identify your Nikon COOLPIX S9500 by looking at the front of the camera. You’ll see the Nikon logo in the upper-left corner, COOLPIX in the lower-left corner, and COOLPIX S9500 in the top-left area.
For confirmation, flip the camera over and check the label on the bottom for the model and serial numbers.
