Background and Identification
The ULCO Integrus PSV Ventilator, A7085, was created in 2005. It uses Pressure Support Ventilation (PSV), which means the pressure is controlled, but the patient can determine inflation volume and respiratory frequency. Pressure support can be used to overcome the resistance of ventilator tubing in another cycle or to help with spontaneous breathing. ULCO have created this PSV with new features:
- Closed loop control of volume delivery
- Distal flow sensor ensures accurate exhaled volume
- measurements
- Advanced ventilation modes such as SIMV and Pressure Support
- Loops display
- Integration with Integrus workstation and CBS bellows/absorber system Troubleshooting
