Which SSD to choose for iMac 27" 2010
I don"t understand which SSD should I buy SATA 2 or 3? And what model would be the best?

Your system has a SATA 3 (6.0 Gb/s) interface for its HD and has a second port available (unused) which is also SATA 3.
While its a bit of work I would recommend doing the dual drive setup Vs swapping out your current HD for the SSD. Follow this IFIXIT guide Installing iMac Intel 27" EMC 2390 Dual Drive Kit.
If you are thinking on replacing your HD I would recommend going with a SSHD Vs a straight SSD. While its less work to replace the HD you will encounter issues with the thermal sensor with the SSD. Unlike the newer SSHD's from WD or Seagate resolve.
