Screws on the AirPort/Bluetooth board housing?

Hi,

I accidentally destroyed the head of the two screws holding the AirPort/Bluetooth board housing (see step 8 Installation d'un second SSD dans le MacBook Pro 15" Unibody début 2011). Does anyone know where I can order replacements for them?

And I would prefer not to buy all screws (MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Mid 2010 - Mid 2012) Screw Set) since only two are broken.

Sadly, I think you're between a rock and a hard place here.

1 - 8.6 mm Phillips screw (922-9107)

1 - 3.9 mm Phillips screw (922-8974)

Companies like IFIXIT buy systems (new & used) to then strip down for parts. Screws are hard to get in small quantities and there are a lot of different screws to try to manage! So what most sellers do is create a package and sell the full set. Which is what IFIXIT does.

I've given you the Apple part numbers so you can try searching for other options. Companies who do sell the screws discreetly will sell a package of 5 or 6 for about $36 so you're not saving much here and don't forget the shipping costs depending where you are.

Your other option is to look for a junker system of the same series as yours. But you could end up paying more ;-{ The good news though is you'll have quite a few good parts (depending on what happened to the poor fella) for the next time.
