1000 watt GE microwave/CONVECTION popped then went dead.

New 2006 (this is 2018) GE MICROWAVE/CONVECTION VERY LITE USE. OBVIOUS POP SOUND DURING HEATING, NOW UNIT DEAD. BREAKER NOT TRIPPED. IT IS ATTACHED TO A POWER STRIP, WHICH STILL WORKS FINE.
