Just got time to replace my new trackpad part.

but just want to make sure if this is the same pad as my old one?

attached photos I took from my Air,

Please help me to check the year and part is right fo fit.

Old and new do not match. They use different ribbon cable and connector also pins are different amount for trackpad cable. Ran into the same issue when doing this.

Old and new do not match. They use different ribbon cable and connector also pins are different amount for trackpad cable. Ran into the same issue when doing this. — Ben
