I have an iphone 7+(model A1784) for which the touchscreen/digitiser from time to time is nonresponsive or typing the wrong letters/characters. My iphone screen is not physically or mechanically damaged and it looks just fine. I was wondering if that is a hardware issue or something related to its coding or else software?

Usually this is caused by an bad replacement screen. Has the screen been replaced recently?

No, the screen has not been replaced recently or at all.

Do you believe is something related to hardware damage? as it happens from time to time being nonresponsive and not all the time.
had you dropped it at some point?
Do you believe it can be fixed by having my Iphone 7+ through the DFU mode or it is definitely a hardware issue ?
it could work but if the issue comes back it likely needs a screen replacement
