Hi, I know that the LCD display is separately from the front glass, but I'm wondering if that glass is scratch resistant or spill resistant.

The screen is scratch resistant; not scratch-proof.
Scratch resistant means the screen will survive in most conditions but if you expose it to something hard like sand or a knife the screen will scratch it.
