According to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Type 20A7, 20A8) documentation, the part number for the CMOS battery is 04X0443.

As far as replacing the battery, Lenovo has bite-sized tutorials that cover every step of the process. As you disassemble the computer, remember to keep all the parts organized so that reassembly will easier!

Hi @tcoulon

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.

Go to p.66-68 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the coin cell battery from the laptop.

Here's a link to the parts for the laptop. Click on Select Commodity > CMOS battery (1) to find the part number - 04X0443

Search online using the part number only, to get results for suppliers of the part that suit you best.
