Well, it just started falling off, I can’t find this part on eBay, and if I would I still don’t know how to replace just the sealing.

And how to replace it? Am I wrong, when I say, the best method is with a heatgun?
Review this guide Remplacement de l'écran LCD du MacBook Pro 17" Unibody Jump down to Step 17, stopping at Step 20. I do recommend taking the display assembly fully off following the steps from the beginning. I would not recommend a heat gun or other heat source.
