I get chime, fan and then system reboots on its own

I just got a 2011 15” MacBook Pro and works as described,
When I plug the batt., I get the chime, fans spin, white screen, (no keyboard light) and after some time (+- 20 seconds), the system reboots, (chime) and then shut off.

Only boot if I plug the batt. or magsafe…

This happen with no SSD, with SSD (Sierra with GPu disable), bootable USB etc….

Can it be the Keyboard?

Can I unplug the keyboard connector from motherboard and try with external keyboard? Or should break for parts?

Options

With the drive installed & connected, MagSafe disconnected and battery removed, press the power button and hold it for a good 15 sec to fully discharge the logic board. Now plug in the MagSafe and quickly press the Shift (⇧) to enter into Safe Mode. Are you able to get that far? What do you see on the screen.

Thanks and sorry for my delay (miss the notification)!!

It´s a Keyboard problem, I unplug the flex in the motherboard, and the mac is running ok with a external keyboard!

It looks like the folding compression latch has come off the logic board base. It you look you should see a small pin on each side this is the hinge pin =which sits into the mating slot in base piece. Carefully bow the part just enough to get into the the correct placement.
