WiFi will not connect after a coffee spill

WiFi will not connect Is there a way to fix this I’ve talked to a few shops and they say it’s 600 to look at it plus the cost of repair so I would just buy a new one at that point.

I have the same Mac. I am currently typing on the same Mac. But, unfortunately these newer Mac models are very hard to repair. It is almost impossible to find spare parts for them, and then Parts Pairing is a completely separate issue.

@jadonlyon - Apple now offers parts directly! Review the Apple Self Service Repair Store you’ll find service manuals and parts for the newer M series systems!

@danj - Oh, cool! Good to know. I couldn’t find any parts for my Mac. I’ll check into this as well.

Firstly, STOP USING THE COMPUTER! That will only make any problems worse. Then, follow this guide up to step 14 to open the computer and remove power. Next, follow these steps to clean up the mess inside. There is a chance, since you used your machine, that there is some corrosion, so be sure to do a thorough inspection. This guide also has some good tips.

There still is a chance you won't be able to get everything working again, so bear that in mind as you work on fixing it all up.

Good luck!!
