Download this Gem of an App CoconutBattery it will help you evaluate what’s going on.
So… Is the MagSafe charger LED Amber or Green or not lit?
A Lithium Ion battery can take up to eight hour to fully charge if completely discharged. A new battery will have some charge in it and often only takes about four hours.
Can you give us some deeper insight on what you are encountering here?
You do need to see what’s happening using CoconutBattery and monitoring the MagSafe cords LED. Post a snapshot of the Apps main window and tell us what’s happening with the MagSafe LED.
