My battery wasn't holding a charge.
Ma solution
The adhesive broke immediately which meant I had to pry the battery out. I didn't heat it up I just bent it all up and tore out the battery. Once I got the new battery in the screen had white/grey blocks and lines on it. Someone suggested unplugging and replugging te battery and screen multiple times. I did that and charged the battery and now the phone is working great.
