iPhone 3GS Front Panel Replacement

Difficult

Mon problème

Because in my country is very difficult to get an iPhone repaired, no one will take it. Also it was my father's phone, so he really needed because is also his work-phone. Beside i had opened before some devices like and iPhone 2G and watched the video and really seemed very easy to do.

Ma solution

It took me around 3 and half hours, the first hour i was struggling with removing the screen since it was all messed up, and didnt see quite well how to removed, so i was poking on the wrong places to lift it up. After i got the screen removed, it was all easy, until i encounter the glue sticks, didnt knew how to use them, and iFixit went offline, so i really wasted a lot of time there. After that, it was all fixed back.

Mon conseil

Make sure you save the guide on PDF or something, dont really on iFixit to be online always or internet for the matter. Also they don really explain it well, but the glue sticks have to "sticky" sides, you have to punt one first, then try to gentle remove the "other" side (not very visible, since it tricks you thinking its only one sided).
