Heat the bottom edge of the phone

  • Opening the iPhone's display will compromise its waterproof seals. Have replacement seals ready before you proceed past this step, or take care to avoid liquid exposure if you reassemble your iPhone without replacing the seals.

  • Heating the bottom edge of the iPhone helps soften the adhesive securing the display, making it easier to open.

  • Use a hair dryer or a heat gun to heat the bottom edge of the iPhone for 90 seconds or until the screen is slightly too hot to touch.

  • Never leave your hair dryer in one spot for an extended period of time.

  • If you have trouble during the opening procedure, the adhesive most likely cooled down. Apply more heat to further soften the adhesive.

Ouvrir l'écran iPhone va endommager ses joints étanches. Pensez à vous procurer des joints de remplacement avant de vous lancer dans une réparation, ou bien faites attention à ne plus exposer votre iPhone à des liquides si vous le remontez sans changer les joints.

Chauffer le bord inférieur de l'iPhone va aider à ramollir l'adhésif qui fixe l'écran et donc faciliter l'ouverture.

Utilisez un sèche-cheveux ou un pistolet thermique pour chauffer le bord de l'iPhone pendant 90 secondes ou jusqu'à ce que l'écran soit légèrement trop chaud au toucher.

Ne pointez jamais votre sèche-cheveux au même endroit pendant un temps prolongé.

Si vous avez du mal au cours de la procédure d'ouverture, il est très probable que l'adhésif ait refroidi et durci. Refaites chauffer pour continuer à le ramollir.
