Tablet won't turn on

The tablet won't turn on no matter what you do.

Power button is stuck

Try pushing the power button multiple times to release the button. Once the button is released hold it down until the tablet turns on. If the tablet still does not turn on try an additional troubleshooting step.

Drained/bad battery

Battery might just need to be charged or replaced. Let the battery charge for a few hours with the device turned off. If that does not work you should try replacing the battery. See the guide to replace the battery Remplacement de la batterie du Dreamax DMX-ST7A.

Tablet is not set up for charging

Make sure that when attempting to charge the battery, the tablet is turned on and sleep mode is turned off.

The Screen brightness may be to dark to see the display on the tablet. The is especially common if the screen is dark while around bright surroundings.

Overheating

Tablet is hot to the touch.

Overuse

Tablet is being overused or left on for long periods of time. Remember to shut tablet off after use.

Surrounding Atmospheres

Don't leave tablet in the sun for long duration of time.

Wrong cable connector

Be sure the cable is compatible for the device.

USB cable is not working properly

Check both ends of the cable to see if they are damaged. If they are, they must be replaced.

Make sure that the USB cable is fully inserted into the USB port of the tablet and the USB port of your computer.

Is the amber light on the bottom of the tablet turned on? It will turn green when fully charged.

Make sure that the charge light is on. If it is not then you may have to replace the USB cable.

No audio or distorted audio

The table turns on and appears to work, but when you plug in headphones or speaker, the audio doesn't play properly

Bad audio jack

The most likely cause of audio output problems on the tablet is a bad audio-out jack. First try a full restore on the tablet to make sure it is not a software issue. If that fails to work, try replacing the audio jack. If that doesn't solve the problem, your motherboard most likely needs replacement.

Bad headphones/speakers

It's unlikely your headphones or speakers are bad, but it's worthwhile to eliminate these as the source of your problem at the beginning. Try your tablet with another set of headphones or speakers just to make sure that the problem is with your tablet.
