My phone won't hold a charge
The phone won't turn on or dies suddenly for no apparent reason
Improperly Installed Battery
Check to make sure you're battery is installed correctly and nothing is obstructing its connection with the phone.
Bad Charger
Try to charge your phone on a different charger to see if yours may be broken before replacing any parts of your phone.
Dead Battery
If the battery is old or it has been damaged by water, dropping, etc. then you may need to replace it with a new one.
I can't hear the person I'm talking to
The call quality is fuzzy or goes in and out and I don't have reception problems
Bad connection between Logic Boards
You should first check to see whether the upper and lower components of the phone are connected properly. A loose connection could prevent the upper components from working correctly. This can be found on step 5 of the Disassembling Motorola V551 Screen guide.
Earpiece speaker problems
You're speaker could have a bad attachment, something obstructing it or be blown out. To check it follow this guide.
When I press the buttons my phone doesn't respond
The buttons aren't pressing right or the phone doesn't recognize it when I press them
Keypad is out of place inside the phone
If one or more of the buttons is depressed and will not come loose or stuck inside the phone you can fix it by following this guide.
Logic board is malfunctioning
You're main logic board or the pressure sensors on it could be malfunctioning. If you've exhausted all other paths follow this guide to remove it.
A key has come off the keypad
If you still have a button that has fallen off of the keypad it can be easily reattached. Follow this guide.
My inner/outer screen isn't working
The screen is black or white or won't turn on or stay on.
