Background
The GoPro HERO was released on October 5th, 2014. The GoPro Hero offers video in 720p or 1080p and a 5MP camera. Identification
To check that your device is the “HD HERO” and not any other models, confirm that it says “HERO” instead of “HERO2”, “HERO3” or “HERO4”. Also confirm that there isn't a small "C" shape before the HERO logo.
