Background
The Sprout Channel Cubby™ is a tablet for children. It was released in 2014 and subsequently discontinued around 2015-2016. The manufacturer rebranded from the Sprout Network to Universal Kids at that time, so it's considered a single-generation product.
The tablet has a 7-inch 1024x600 pixel touchscreen and two 2-megapixel cameras (one rear-facing and one front-facing). It has HDMI connectivity, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It also has 16GB of memory, 1GB RAM, and a 1.2-Ghz processor. With access to the internet, various applications, and pre-loaded Sprout content, parents can limit what their children watch with parental controls.
Identification
The Sprout Channel Cubby can be identified by its green side grips connected across a white back case. The tablet has blue top and bottom edges and a white screen bezel. “Sprout Channel Cubby” is embossed on the green cross section connecting the grips, and the model name (“Cubby”) and FCC ID are printed near the bottom of the back case.
