SteelSeries released the Arctis Pro Plus GameDAC on March 12, 2018. The accompanying gameDAC serves as a high performance digital-to-analog converter (DAC) to increase the sound quality. Due to its high sound resolution, this product was the first full gaming audio system to receive the Hi-Res Audio certification. Some of the features of the headset include: customizable audio outputs, volume control, bidirectional microphone for a noise cancelation feature, RGB side illumination, and compatibility with multiple platforms.

The specifications of this device include:

• ESS Sabre Game DAC and amp with audio quality of 121 dB of dynamic range and -115 dB THD+N

This headset is the middle tier version of the SteelSeries Arctis Pro line. Each tier is unique, as the lowest only contains the headphones, the top tier headset includes Bluetooth connectivity with SteelSeries’s Transmitter Base Station, and this product comes with a GameDAC.
