MacBook Pro fails to boot. Most Likely failed GPU

Hi,

I have this Early 2011 unibody MacBook Pro that fails to boot into macOS High Sierra but can boot into a Recovery Drive. During this the Mac is extremely slow and took about 5 minutes just to open terminal after me selecting it in the utilities dropdown menu.

I am not too sure what to do right now, and it seems as if the Mac struggles a lot on High Sierra. I got it working once however it did not boot up ever again into the OS.

Trying to downgrade to another operating system right now is not possible as downloading an OS such as Yosemite or Mavericks does not work as my MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15 cannot open the .pkg to create the .app so I can use createinstallmedia to make a bootable drive.

If there are any suggestions please do help as I am clueless and have poured many hours into this machine.

What does the onboard battery checker tell you? When you press the button do you get the tiny LED's to light? Who many and are the steady or blinking?
