Stabilize the iMac

  • Follow these assembly directions to put the service wedge together.

  • Insert the service wedge between the back of the display and the stand.

  • If you are not using a service wedge, the iMac can shift unexpectedly during the repair. You can complete the repair without it, but the procedure will be easier with an iFixit cardboard service wedge.

Suivez les instructions ci-dessous pour assembler la cale de maintien.

Insérez la cale de maintien entre l'arrière de l'écran et le support.

Si vous n'utilisez pas de cale de maintien, l'iMac risque de se déplacer inopinément pendant la réparation. Vous pouvez effectuer la réparation sans cette cale, mais la procédure sera plus facile avec une cale de maintien en carton iFixit.
