No sound comes from the speakers when you receive a call, notification or play music.

This problem is a simple fix. Make sure the phone is on and you are on the home screen. Then press the up button on the upper part of the rocker switch on the right side of the phone a few times to see if the volume is up all the way.

If headphones or an auxiliary plug is plugged into the phone, the sound will no longer come out of the speakers. It will only come out of the headphones. Simply unplug them from the phone.

You can hear people call you or see the notification light blink, but do not see any image on the screen.

These small ports often get clogged with dirt and lint from your pockets. Inspect the charging port for dirt in the plug. If it is dirty, try cleaning it out. Use a soft cloth, like a microfiber cloth, to wipe the screen clean. If the screen is oily and the cloth by itself is not helping, try using a damp cloth with rubbing alcohol. Most gloves will not work on a touch screen. You will have to take off your glove to use the phone or purchase gloves that are made specifically to work with touch screens.
