Overheating and/or Loud Fan
The device is warm or hot to the touch after being on for a relatively short time.
The fan makes noise loud enough to be bothersome.
Dirty Vents
If the laptop is overheating or the fan is loud, first try cleaning the vents. If this does not solve the problem, open the device to clean the fan from the inside.
Broken Fan

Frozen Screen
A program or all programs are unresponsive.
Computer Slow or Unresponsive
If it's possible, pull up the Task Manager using Ctrl-Alt-Del or right-clicking on the taskbar. End the program that is unresponsive.
Disk Usage Overload
If pulling up the Task Manager is not an option, you can do a forced reset by holding down the power button or removing the battery.
Won't Turn On
The device won't turn off after pushing the power button.
Not Charged
If the device won't turn on, it could be that the battery is completely drained. Charge the device for at least an hour before attempting to turn it on again.
Battery Issue

Won't Charge
The device does not charge when connected to the charger.
Not Receiving Power
The charger may not be plugged in the computer and the outlet comppletely. If it is plugged in, check to make sure the outlet is working by testing other appliances.
Battery Issue

Charger Issue
The issue may be with the charger itself. Try using a different charger with the same kind of port. If the device still isn't charging, you may need replace the charger port. Replacement guide: Remplacement du connecteur de charge du Sony Vaio Fit 13A
Display Issues
The screen is physically cracked or graphically distorted.
Defective Screen
Issues with the screen other than just orientation or resolution usually necessitate replacing the screen altogether. Replacement guide: Remplacement de l’écran du Sony Vaio Fit 13A
Keyboard Issues
The keys are sticking or not working.
Sticky Keys
Pop the keys out carefully and clean underneath. Gently push key back into place.
WiFi Won't Connect
The laptop is unable to connect to WiFi.
WiFi Turned Off
You may have WiFi turned off. Go to your connections page and make sure WiFi is on.
Internal Wireless Adapter
The issue may be with your internal wireless adapter. Reset it through your system's troubleshooting tools.
Fried Wireless Card
If your other devices connect to WiFi properly, the issue is most likely with your wireless card. You can purchase an external wireless adapter or you can replace your internal wireless card. Replacement guide: Remplacement de la carte réseau Wi-Fi du Sony Vaio Fit 13A

WiFi won't connect
Try restarting the VSNService (Vaio Smart Network Service) in services.
My touch screen pc had the soft switch where you could select either Wireless or Bluetooth come on at the bottom of the screen when windows started up. But one day the soft switch disappeared with the wireless off.
It took me ages to track it down but restarting that service brought the softswitch back again.
