'95 Altima will crank but won't start

On my 1995 Altima it did shortly from taking off from a stoplight. Just stalled out. Shortly after it started for a bit, was running roughly and I had to tap on gas a lot to keep it running, then when j tried to take off, it stalled out and died again.

I have not installed the knock sensor I currently had right now. Got it, just hasn't got it in in time. But so far I have used a fuel pressure gauge tester and tested the fuel pump with the new fuel filter on it…. good pressure.

Also have replaced the distributor cap and rotor. Tested the coil with a spark plug and I'm getting spark.

It's cranking great but just doesn't wanna start. Try to start and pedal to the floor it putters a bit like it wants to but doesnt.

Help anyone?

Thanks Derek.

try a compression test to make sure there’s enough pressure in each cylinder there for it to start, your only need air, fuel spark and compression in the cylinders for it to start so one of them is being compromised. another thing to check is the timing adjusted properly as this will cause it to have trouble starting or not start at all. and would also cause it to randomly stall too, has it had any other symptoms building up to the car not starting that may have been overlooked like lower mpg, struggling to start, loss of power etc..?
