When the issue started to develop, was it after a particular event? Maybe after a fall, or potential water damage?

No Jacob I am one of the person who takes utmost care of my things , never did the watch fall down or never did i wear it for a swim or for a bath so issue of water damage doesn't arise.

The screen just started going dark with dark spots. I tried rebooting and hard restarting the device as instructed by the Fitbit team but to no avail.

After a few trys the Fitbit team gave up and said we can't do anything more as we don't have repair center in India , Sorry!

I have the exact same problem with mine. I’ve tried all resets recommended and still nothing happens. Changed the watch face and still not working… everything seems to be working fine, just no visuals on the screen. Any suggestions? Thank you kindly!

@yoanner i suggest you try opening the watch your self by watching you tube video, and the try disconnecting the screen and reconnecting the screen.

That's all we can try now , I am going to try the same thing as as of now we don't have any service centre in my country and ifix doesn't ship new spares to my country for right now😔

@nirdesh71671 this "first developed black sections slowly the whole screen went black" sounds like a bad screen. If it would be a data issue it would not have done it in sections. It sounds to me like you are do for a new screen.

Since iFixit does not yet have a guide for that, use something like this video to work on your Fitbit.

Screens appear to be available at places like ebay and others.

While you work on your Fitbit, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
