My USB 2.0 ports have stopped working suddenly , there are not showing me any error messages , they just not responding or feel anything , I have 2 USB 2 ports and 1 USB 3
the USB 3 is working fine , but both usb 2 are dead .
I have tried many things :
1- updating the BIOS
2- reinstall windows
3 reinstall UBNTU and trying through it
4- loading default settings in BIOS
5- updating all drivers in device manager , disabling and enabling every usb port
-
6- trying dell diagnostic tool they come to checking the usb ports and stay at that point not progressing .

6- I have also taken the battery out and pushed the power button for 30 sec to discharge any electric charge in capacitors

7- trying dell diagnostic tool they come to checking the usb ports and stay at that point not progressing .
I left the tool for more than 3 hours and there was no progress at all feels like to me that the tool doesn't find the ports , like they are fried up from over heating or something like that , I can't imagine there is no protection for the USB ports from over heating .
I have attached a screen shot for what my Device manager looks like .

non of the above steps worked , I'm really disappointed and dell doesn't support live chat for my model and I'm out of warranty from about 7 months .
